Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal surprise checked government offices of Ajnala
Amritsar : Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Punjab Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal conducted a surprise check of SDM office, Tehsil, BDPO, Veterinary Hospital, Patwarkhana at Ajnala today and gave strict instructions to the employees absent on duty.
He said that they should attend their duty from 9 am to 5 pm otherwise strict action will be taken against them.Mr. Dhaliwal, while checking the Patwarkhana, instructed the SDM Mr. Rajesh Sharma and the Tehsildar that the record of the Patwarkhana should be maintained properly so that it does not become a cause of trouble for the people.
He instructed the tehsildar and said that people come from far away to get their work done at the patwarkhana, so the patwaris should be present at their seats from 9 am to 5 pm so that people do not face any problem.
Cabinet Minister Dhaliwal said that the new building of the SDM office at Ajnala has been completed and soon the office will be equipped with furniture and shifted for the convenience of the people.
He said that the condition of the old building had become very dilapidated due to which the employees and people had to face a lot of difficulty while getting work done. Mr. Dhaliwal also checked the veterinary hospital where all the employees including the doctor were present.
Mr. Dhaliwal said that Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Bhagwant Mann’s government is a common man’s government and people will not be allowed to face any kind of trouble in government offices.
He said that our government is taking strict action against officials/employees involved in corruption and we are working on zero tolerance policy towards corruption.Tehsildar Robinjit Kaur Gill, Naib Tehsildar Raj Pritpal Singh, Block Development and Panchayat Officer Surjit Singh Bajwa, Political Advisor Rajeev Madan were also present on this occasion.
