17-year-old Sukhmani Brar presents her poetry book to Punjab CM
CM Mann extends best wishes to younger writer
Ludhiana : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended his best wishes to 17-year-old Sukhmani Brar who has recently written a poetry book titled “Façade”. Appreciating Sukhmani for penning a deep and thought-provoking book, Mann said that she had penned an incredible book in the times of instant gratification and social media and hoped the young writer will encourage other youths to towards literature.
CM also lauded the parents of Sukhmani for encouraging the daughter for the book. Mann urged other parents to also motivate their children to channelize their energy in the right direction.“Façade” was released by Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, Commissioner of Police Mandeep Singh Sidhu, former VC of Guru Nanak Dev University Dr SP Singh and noted Punjabi poet Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill on January 19.
