DDC Chairperson reviews functioning of PWD department at Udhampur

Udhampur : A meeting was held today under the Chairmanship of Chairperson District Development Council Udhampur Lal Chand in his office chamber to review the functioning of Public Works Department.

The meeting was attended by Chairperson Block development Councils, District Development Councillors, Superintendent Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer PWD, and Assistant Executive Engineer PWD. At the onset, Officers of PWD gave a detailed overview of the number of roads currently under execution by the department.

Chairperson DDC Udhampur issued directions to the concerned officers to keep maintenance of all roads in ongoing rainy season and ensure hassle free movement of commuters.

He also asked Officers to keep proper communication with the concerned Chairperson Block Development Councils, District development Councillors, and PRI Members during formation of DPR and other process for construction of any road so that maximum number of population will get benefit.Additionally, they were also directed to intimate the office of District Development Council in all such communications.
